When I get up in the morning, I must drink a cup of chai. The fog in my brain will not clear until I get a whiff of the fresh ginger and cardamon. Without chai I can’t function. It’s my cup of coffee. If you are in the mood to try something different, here is the recipe.


I love cucumber sandwiches with cream cheese and a dollop of hot coriander chutney. I make my own chutney at home. Here is my version of it.
- one bunch of fresh coriander, cleaned and chopped.
- 3 green chilies- hot
- one, small squeeze lemon juice
- a pinch of garlic salt
- a pinch of coriander powder
- mix in a blender till smooth
- store in a jar and place it in the fridge.
You can add sugar if you like and cut down on the chilies. It will last for 2-3 weeks in the fridge. Try it and let me know.
